This is our 9x6x4 perforated brick. This perforated brick is good for heat insulation. Although, the bricks constantly under the sun rays, only 2 cm brick is heated and the inside is cool and the cost, used for cooling appliences will be saved. The cost of the wall is gradually recovering from those savings.

Special Properties of Terracotta Bricks, Hollow Blocks And Other Products

1. Ecolight Hollow Blocks are made from selected clays by using vacuum technology therefore the texture is very dense. This process removes the air between two particles of the clay and makes the bond of the particles stronger.

2. Hollow Blocks and all Terracotta products like Ecolight Hexagonal tiles are fired in downdraft chamber kiln at high temperature    (900 – 950 degrees) so these possesses very good strength and durability i.e. resistance to extreme temperature changes, frost and rain etc.

3. Water absorption is as low as 10 – 12 % (As per IS – 3952). Normal bricks have water absorption between 25 – 30 %.
4. These Ecolight Tiles / Paver Tiles attain highest degree of dimensional accuracy and uniformity. Due to above two reasons speed of work can increase without comprising with quality.
5. Hollow Blocks posses very high heat insulation property because of its design and low consumption of cement mortar. Due to this property, temperature inside the building remains substantially lower than the external temperature and a pleasant working condition is created inside. Also power consumption for A.C. is minimized.

7. Perforated Bricks suitable for external as well as partition walls. The perforated bricks are extruded under vacuum, made of natural clay and fired at 950° C and hence are almost everlasting. The perforated bricks have many advantages, such as better thermal insulation, acoustic performance, light weight (30%-40% only), better bond, seimatic resistance, fire resistance, high crushing strength, modern appearance, uniform size, colour, texture etc.
